Experts say worst over for infra sector, credit availability likely to rise

In CNBC-TV18’s new series -- Election and Market

-- we are focusing on the road sector, its performance over the last five years and the big issues for the next government.

The series also analyse how past elections and successive governments have dealt with the issues around key sectors.

Rohan Suryavanshi, head-strategy and planning, Dilip Buildcon; Praveen Sood, former group CFO, HCC and Jayesh Desai, infrastructure sector expert, discussed the performance, issues and the way forward for the road sector.

The experts give a thumbs up for the road sector though they think there are some problems left on the table such as giving private equity investors the confidence to invest in new projects.
