Q: 49-year-old Hemant Purandare‏ writes to us on Twitter. Investing Rs 10,000 per month in mutual funds. Rs 4,000 in Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Fund Growth, Rs 4,000 in Franklin India Growth, Rs 2,000 in DSP Small Cap Fund since last three years. However, it's yielding 5.87 percent. Please advise.

A: Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) investments are meant for more five years, so it is very early to see returns. You can look to stop SIP in DSP Small Cap and start in Reliance Small Cap.
