Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Broadcom Inc.
Aug 14, 2025 7:21 AM

09:45 AM EDT, 08/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We raise our 12-month target price to $340 from $290, on higher revised P/E of 34x to our CY 27 EPS estimate of $10.00, above peers and historical, given superior growth potential and higher margin profile. We note that all major hyperscalers, specifically AVGO's largest custom silicon customer Alphabet (increased 2025 spend by $10B to $85B), are driving upside to fundamentals in the near term. We are also seeing a new wave of emerging players investing in their own data infrastructure, which is providing better visibility into '26 and '27 as we believe AVGO is capturing their business. We see upside from at least four potential new custom silicon customers, as AI growth trends for AVGO are likely to be sustained through the end of next year (implying AI semis grow about 60% Y/Y through that period with the potential to accelerate in 2H CY 26). Meanwhile, advancements on the networking side offer additional upside, enabling more accelerators within an AI cluster. AVGO is set to report Jul-Q results on 9/4.
