Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Buy Opinion On Shares Of Qualcomm Inc.
Oct 27, 2025 3:19 PM

02:15 PM EDT, 10/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We lift our 12-month target to $220 from $185, on a higher revised P/E of 17.9x our CY 2027 EPS of $12.30. Building off its success with NPUs at the device level, QCOM announced AI inference solutions for data centers. The AI200 and AI250 accelerator cards and racks target commercial availability in 2026/2027, committing to an annual product cadence. The news further diversifies QCOM away from Apple (losing modem business) and the low/no growth smartphone space, offering a new revenue stream even with a minimal share presence. QCOM has partnered with HUMAIN to deploy 200 MW of AI infrastructure starting 2026. We expect this to serve as commercial validation that could spur more customer wins. While previous attempts by QCOM to enter the data center space have failed, we see reasons for this time to be different (e.g., HUMAIN deal, need for alternatives, rapidly growing market). Trading below market multiples and broader chip space, any success in QCOM's data center initiatives could drive notable upside ahead.
