Research Alert: CFRA Maintains Hold Opinion On Shares Of Arm Holdings Plc
Mar 25, 2026 6:08 AM

08:55 AM EDT, 03/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:

We lift our target to $180 from $115, based on a higher revised P/E of 60x our CY 27 EPS of $3.00, within historical range but above peers. At its Arm Everywhere event, ARM unveils the Arm AGI CPU, its first physical silicon chip, a shift from its licensing-only model (will compete with Intel, AMD, and Nvidia). Full production is seen in 2H, and Meta has already received evaluation samples as the inaugural customer, with other confirmed partners including OpenAI, SAP, and SK Telecom. The new chip business is seen generating $15B in annual sales by FY 31 (Mar.), with total revenue of $25B ($10B will be IP/CSS sales) and +$9 in EPS by then ($6.5B operating profit from IP/CSS and $4.5B from AGI CPU). We believe this move expands ARM's TAM amid the rise of AI Agents ($100B by FY 31 with AGI CPU; 40x boost), which could drive a 4x increase in CPU demand (we expect it to remain supply constrained) as AI agents require intensive orchestration, code execution, and database queries that CPUs handle most efficiently.
