02:50 PM EST, 11/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CFRA, an independent research provider, has provided MT Newswires with the following research alert. Analysts at CFRA have summarized their opinion as follows:
We lower our 12-month target to $0.35 from $0.50, a premium to our DCF analysis. Our 2025 EPS estimate remains -$0.85, but we lower 2026's to -$0.60 from -$0.50, and introduce 2027's at -$0.50. Following a highly disappointing Q3 earnings release and with the shares plummeting to a record low, we raise our opinion one notch to Sell from Strong Sell. Clearly, PSNY is a distressed name with growing losses and rising going concern risk despite its success in growing vehicle sales relative to other EV upstarts. The more the shares fall, the greater the risk of Nasdaq delisting, as Polestar has until April 29 to regain compliance with exchange rules by achieving a minimum closing price of $1.00 for at least 10 consecutive business days. Importantly, PSNY's announced plans to initiate a reverse stock split will not necessarily prevent this following the SEC's approval of new delisting rules earlier this year. We continue to view PSNY as speculative, noting its current short interest is ~10% of the float.
