Indian bourses ended on a very positive note on Monday, with major push by the IT index (2 percent) followed by other sectors.

Bulls took control over the benchmark indices with Sensex and Nifty ending nearly 1 percent higher. The Sensex closed at 36,213.38, up by 341.90 points and Nifty closed at 10,880.10, up by 88.40 points.
Around 1,515 shares advanced yesterday, 1,072 shares declined while 147 shares remain unchanged.
In bulk deals conducted on February 25- HDFC Mutual Fund sold 9,81,912 shares of Astra Microwave Products
at a price of Rs 78 per share aggregating to an amount of Rs 7,65,89,136 crore.
ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund- Bharat 22 ETF sold 1,24,12,768 shares of National Alum Co. Ltd. at a price of Rs 48.03 per shares aggregating to an amount of Rs 59,61,85,247 crore.
