Indian rupee has fallen about 12 percent against the US dollar so far this year. Vishnu R Dusad, MD & CEO of Nucleus Software Exports, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about how the rupee's plunge would benefit the company.
"We would be able to benefit from rupee depreciation for the time being but the benefits do not stay on forever," Dusad said.
When asked about renegotiations of contracts with vendors, he said, “Thankfully our prices are quoted in US dollar or foreign currency only so there is need for any renegotiation.”
On the hedged inflow front, Dusad said, “50 percent of our inflows are hedged typically.”
