09:01 AM EST, 02/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks rose premarket Thursday with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) 0.4% higher recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was up 0.9% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 1.1% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 1% at $69.33 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 1.1% to $73.32 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 0.9% lower at $3.92 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
TechnipFMC ( FTI ) shares were up almost 6% after the company reported higher Q4 adjusted earnings and revenue.
