09:08 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining pre-bell Wednesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) was down 0.3% recently.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was 0.04% higher and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was down nearly 4%.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was 0.4% higher at $69.47 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil gained 0.4% to $71.95 per barrel. Natural gas futures were 2.8% lower at $3.053 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Hess Midstream ( HESM ) shares were up nearly 3% after the company posted higher Q2 earnings and revenue.
