09:09 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were declining premarket Wednesday, with the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLE) 1.4% lower.
The United States Oil Fund (USO) was down 2.7% and the United States Natural Gas Fund (UNG) was 2.7% higher.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 2.6% at $59.15 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 2.5% to $63.26 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 3.5% higher at $4.52 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Cenovus Energy ( CVE ) shares were down more than 1% after the company priced an offering of senior notes consisting of four tranches in Canadian and US dollar denominations.
