09:30 AM EDT, 05/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Energy stocks were advancing premarket Tuesday as the Energy Select Sector SPDR Fund ( XLE ) was recently up 0.8%.
The United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.9% and the United States Natural Gas Fund ( UNG ) was 1% lower.
Front-month US West Texas Intermediate crude oil was down 0.9% at $60.97 per barrel at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Global benchmark North Sea Brent crude oil lost 0.9% to $64.16 per barrel, and natural gas futures were 0.3% higher at $3.34 per 1 million British Thermal Units.
Sable Offshore ( SOC ) shares were up more than 1% after the company said it has closed a $295 million upsized underwritten public offering of shares.
Golar LNG (GLNG) shares were up 0.7% even after the company reported lower preliminary Q1 net income and operating revenue.
