The Philadelphia Housing Index fell 2.2%, and the Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLRE) slumped 1.5%.
Bitcoin (BTC-USD) tumbled 6.2% to $54,520, and the yield for 10-year US Treasuries was little changed at 3.79%.
In corporate news, Charles Schwab ( SCHW ) shares were down 1.3% as it said Monday afternoon it has resolved a technical issue that caused some customers to have trouble logging in to their accounts earlier in the day amid a global stock selloff.
