The Philadelphia Semiconductor index shed 1.8%.

In corporate news, RCM Technologies (RCMT) shares tumbled 25%, a day after the company reported Q4 revenue that trailed analyst estimates.

QuickLogic (QUIK) shares added 3.3%. The firm said Thursday it entered into a partnership with Zero-Error Systems America to develop radiation-tolerant embedded field-programmable gate array for space applications.

Match Group ( MTCH ) has attracted another activist investor who is now pushing for a revamp of its board, Bloomberg reported. The shares fell 0.4%.

SentinelOne ( S ) shares sank 17% following its Q4 results and guidance.
