09:11 AM EDT, 07/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks were edging higher premarket Wednesday as the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) was up 0.1% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) was recently advancing by 2.1%.

Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) agreed to acquire CyberArk Software ( CYBR ) in a cash-and-stock transaction that represents an equity value of about $25 billion for CyberArk. Shares of Palo Alto Networks ( PANW ) were down more than 6% pre-bell.

Garmin ( GRMN ) stock was up nearly 2% after the company reported higher fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and net sales, and raised its 2025 outlook.

Entegris ( ENTG ) shares were down more than 5% after the company posted lower fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings and net sales.
