09:02 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Technology stocks fell in Thursday's pre-bell hours with the Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLK) down 0.8% and the SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF ( XSD ) 0.3% lower recently.

Adobe (ADBE) shares were nearly 11% lower after the company late Wednesday reported higher fiscal Q4 earnings and sales, but issued a fiscal Q1 revenue outlook below market expectations.

Ciena (CIEN) shares rose past 12% even after the company reported lower fiscal Q4 adjusted net income and revenue.

3D Systems ( DDD ) shares were up nearly 2% after the company said it has agreed to sell its Geomagic software portfolio to Hexagon's manufacturing intelligence division for $123 million.
