Social Buzz: Wallstreetbets Stocks Mixed Premarket Tuesday; Planet Labs to Advance, Archer Aviation to Decline

06:43 AM EST, 12/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- The most-talked-about stocks in the Reddit subforum Wallstreetbets were mixed hours ahead of Tuesday's opening bell.

Planet Labs (PL) advanced by 8.9% in premarket hours, after closing Monday with a 14.8% rise. The company said it will provide its satellite-data-derived forest carbon monitoring products to Laconic under a multi-year, "seven-figure" deal.

Super Micro Computer ( SMCI ) rose by 3.3% in pre-bell activity, following a 28.7% increase from the previous session.

Rocket Lab USA ( RKLB ) was up 2% premarket, swinging from an 11.5% decline at Monday's close.

Intel ( INTC ) was 0.2% higher pre-bell, swinging from a 0.5% decline at Monday's close.

Archer Aviation ( ACHR ) declined by 3.7% hours before market open, following a 23.7% fall from the previous session.

Tesla (TSLA) was down 1.5% in pre-bell activity, offsetting a portion of its 3.5% increase at Monday's close.

MicroStrategy ( MSTR ) was 0.8% lower in premarket hours, after a 1.9% decline from the previous session.

Nvidia ( NVDA ) was down 0.3% premarket, reversing a 0.3% increase at Monday's close.

According to Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) data, the value of P-note investments in Indian markets, equity, debt and hybrid securities, was at Rs 97,744 crore in August-end compared to Rs 85,799 crore in July-end. The figure for July has been revised by the regulator from Rs 1,01,798 crore posted earlier.

The rupee closed 4 paise higher at 73.48 (provisional) against the US dollar on Friday, tracking the broad weakness of the American currency in the overseas market. At the interbank forex market, the local unit opened flat at 73.49 against the greenback. During the session, the domestic unit witnessed an intra-day high of 73.42 and a low of 73.55.
