The company said it developed the updates to remove any patented features claimed by Qorvo.

Shares jumped 9.2%, with volume topping 4.88 million versus the average of 3.14 million.

Dycom Industries ( DY ) reported fiscal Q1 earnings and revenue that exceeded estimates by analysts.

Shares rose 6.1% as volume topped 276,000 versus the daily average of almost 267,000.
