Riley is currently the company's largest shareholder.

The stock jumped 17% with intraday trading volume topping 18,1 million shares versus the daily average of 1.46 million.

Greenland Technologies ( GTEC ) shares surged 37%. a day after the company reported Q2 net income doubled from a year earlier.

Volumes topped 29.6 million shares versus the daily average of almost 104,000.

H&R Block ( HRB ) reported late Thursday higher fiscal Q4 revenue and boosted the quarterly dividend 17%.

Shares advanced 13% as volume topped 5.87 million versus the daily average of about 988,000.
