U.S. Bancorp Holds Stress Capital Buffer at 2.6%, Plans Higher Dividend

05:53 PM EDT, 06/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) said Wednesday its stress capital buffer will remain unchanged at 2.6% through Oct. 1, 2027, following the Federal Reserve's latest stress test results.

U.S. Bancorp ( USB ) plans to increase its quarterly dividend to $0.54 a share from $0.52, subject to board approval, beginning in Q3.
