US Futures Edge Higher Tuesday as Investors Continue to Monitor Middle East Conflict, Await Labor Data
Jun 30, 2026 5:30 AM

07:59 AM EDT, 06/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- US stock futures are tracking modestly higher in Tuesday's premarket session as investors continue to monitor flare ups in Middle East fighting and potential peace negotiations, while looking ahead to key labor data set for release later in the morning.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up 0.2%, S&P 500 futures were rising 0.2%, and Nasdaq futures were edging 0.4% higher.

Oil prices were mixed, with front-month global benchmarks Brent crude easing 0.1% to $73.08 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude was up 0.3% to $70.97 a barrel.

Investors are looking ahead to the Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey for May at 10 am ET in Washington, which is an indicator of national labor market trends and tightness. Analysts polled by Bloomberg expect it to decline to 7.296 million from 7.618 million the previous month.
