May 13 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes were
subdued at the open on Tuesday, as investors assessed the latest
inflation numbers and their impact on monetary policy after
markets came off sharp gains from the temporary Sino-U.S. trade
truce.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 97.2 points, or
0.23%, at the open to 42507.33. The S&P 500 rose 10.0
points, or 0.17%, at the open to 5854.15, while the Nasdaq
Composite rose 52.9 points, or 0.28%, to 18761.234 at
the opening bell.
