(Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on Thursday as AI bellwether Nvidia's upbeat forecast soothed concerns of cooling demand in the industry, though a jump in weekly jobless claims kept a check on gains.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 83.3 points, or 0.19%, at the open to 43,516.44. The S&P 500 rose 25.8 points, or 0.43%, at the open to 5,981.88, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 137.1 points, or 0.72%, to 19,212.363 at the opening bell.
