ECB holds interest rates for seventh straight meeting

The European Central Bank released its interest rate decision today, Thursday, following the conclusion of its April 29-30 meeting. In line with most global market expectations, the Bank kept interest rates unchanged at the 2.15% rangethe lowest level since October 2022marking the seventh consecutive meeting without a change.

This statement is "positive" for the Euro exchange rate.
