Khargram is an Assembly constituency in the Murshidabad district, in the South East Bengal region of West Bengal. The Khargram constituency went to polls on April 29, 2021.

In the 2016 Assembly elections, Khargram was won by Ashis Marjit of CPIM. Before that, in the 2011 elections, the seat was held by Ashis Marjit of INC. In the 2016 assembly polls, Ashis Marjit garnered 88913 votes, securing over 54.93 percent of the vote share, and winning the seat by a margin of 33173 votes.
In percentage terms, the victory margin was 20.49 percent. The constituency polled 161985 votes in the 2016 West Bengal assembly polls with a voter turnout of 79.36 percent. The Khargram constituency has a literacy level of 67.53 percent. A total of 9 candidates stood in the 2016 elections.
