NH Bhansali, CEO of Emami, spoke to CNBC-TV18 about the company's business plans and outlook.
According to Bhansali, the stock slide could be on account of panic in the financial market.
“Growth is intact, initiatives which we have taken are also doing extremely good and we believe that there would be a good growth coming in from now in this quarter also,” said Bhansali.
On the market share front, Bhansali said, “We are the market leader in almost all the categories that are present, in all the niche categories like BoroPlus, Navratna, Fair & Handsome and others.”
“We have always strengthen and there has not been any further loss of market share, in fact we are strengthening the shares further,” he added.
According to Bhansali, rural demand is looking good and underlying consumer demand is strong.
