DALLAS & FORT WORTH, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Mouser Electronics, Inc., the industry's leading New Product Introduction (NPI) distributor with the widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components™, provides electronic design engineers with the latest information on automotive technology and system design in its extensive automotive resource center. The digital nature of modern vehicles has escalated the adoption of core technologies like brushless direct current (BLDC) motors for propulsion, sophisticated sensors, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

This system-wide transformation has created a new wave of vehicles built from the ground up. At the core are advanced motor control systems that utilize electronic controllers to give BLDC motors optimal torque, reduced maintenance, and increased energy durability. Building on this electronic foundation, autonomous capabilities are integrated through high-performance computing, LiDAR, and V2X protocols. This robust, high-speed electronic system provides real-time data processing, creating a vast network of connected vehicles for a safer ride. These innovations are further accelerated by additive manufacturing, streamlining the production components with AI and digital twin technologies. As a result, today's vehicles are intelligent, networked systems that create a new era of mobility that is safer, more efficient, and fully connected.

Mouser's resource content hub features comprehensive articles, blogs, eBooks, videos, and products from Mouser's technical team and trusted manufacturing partners. For example, Mouser's recent eBook with YAGEO, Powering the New Automotive Era with Smart Passive Solutions, explains the role of advanced passive components in managing the heat and reliability when designing modern automotive electrical systems. Engineers can utilize the hub as a resource to stay at the forefront of automotive technology and electrical system design.

Mouser stocks the industry's widest selection of semiconductors and electronic components, including the following products and solutions for automotive applications:

The FXPS71407x Automotive Safety Pressure Sensors from NXP Semiconductors are designed using NXP's proprietary MEMS sensing technology coupled with a signal conditioning digital integrated circuit. They offer redundant pressure transducers, two pressure range options, and user-configurable DSI3 and PSI5 interfaces with a Digital Signal Processor (DSP). These sensors are AEC-Q100 qualified, compliant with AK LV 29 requirements, and developed following ISO26262 2011 edition.

The TRAVEO™ T2G Cluster MCUs by Infineon Technologies are designed to offer extensive scalability and high performance. These MCUs offer up to two 320MHz Arm® Cortex®-M7 cores (1500DMIPS), up to 6MB flash, 4MB VRAM, and a 2.5D graphics engine. This combination of processing power, memory, and advanced graphics makes them ideal for modern automotive systems.

The IHDM-1107BB-xA Automotive Through-Hole Inductors from Vishay offer high-temperature operation of up to +180°C with no aging and a high isolation rating of 350VDC. AEC-Q200 qualified, the inductors feature powdered iron alloy cores for stable inductance and saturation across operating temperatures. These inductors are ideal for automotive DCUs, inverters, OBCs, and 48V/12V bidirectional converters.

The AWRL1432 mmWave Radar Sensor by Texas Instruments is an integrated single-chip mmWave sensor based on FMCW radar technology. Built on TI's 45nm RF CMOS process, the sensor is a compact, highly integrated device operating in the 76-81GHz band. It features four power domains (RF/Analog Subsystem, Front-End Controller Subsystem, Application Subsystem, and Hardware Accelerator) with separate controls. Designed for low-power, self-monitored, and ultra-accurate automotive radar systems, it supports applications such as kick-to-open, parking assist, blind spot, and door obstacle detection.
