09:43 AM EST, 11/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Open Text ( OTEX ) said Wednesday it has expanded its collaboration with Alphabet's (GOOG, GOOGL) Google Cloud to launch new AI-to-AI tools, a data protection tool for retailers, and sovereign cloud infrastructure.

Open Text ( OTEX ) said it will use Google's ( GOOG ) Gemini models and Vertex AI to drive new artificial intelligence use cases and deliver a suite of intelligent agents in Gemini Enterprise, targeting challenges in industries such as insurance, financial services, and retail.

The company also said it will integrate its Data Privacy and Protection platform with Google BigQuery to provide advanced encryption and data protection for the retail sector.

Open Text ( OTEX ) said its Private Cloud offerings now integrate with Google Cloud's Sovereign Cloud to help organizations in regulated industries meet compliance requirements.
