Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Wednesday Trading

10:49 AM EDT, 06/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising Wednesday morning, up 0.4% to 2,283.81 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Ascentage (AAPG) and financial service provider CNFinance ( CNF ) , which advanced 11% and 6.9%, respectively.

They were followed by biotech firm Adlai Nortye ( ANL ) , which climbed 3.3%.

The decliners from North Asia were led by cryptocurrency mining company BIT Mining ( BTCM ) and computer hardware maker Canaan (CAN), which fell 9% and 2.2%, respectively.

They were followed by technology company Baidu ( BIDU ) , down 1%.

The decliners from South Asia were led by technology firm Wipro ( WIT ) , which was down 0.8%.
