Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise Sharply in Tuesday Trading

10:39 AM EDT, 03/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were sharply higher Tuesday morning, rising 1.98% to 2,575.33 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by fintech firm Maase ( MAAS ) and electric vehicle maker NIO (NIO), which climbed 6.4% and 5.1% respectively. They were followed by crypto investment firm Token Cat ( TC ) and video streaming service iQIYI (IQ), which advanced 4.4% and 4.3% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by fintech Jiayin Group ( JFIN ) and lender CNFinance ( CNF ) , which shed 14% and 7.9% respectively. They were followed by education company 17 Education & Technology Group ( YQ ) and real estate company Eason Technology ( DXF ) , which fell 3.9% each.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which rose 3% and 2.4% respectively. They were followed by IT firm Sify Technologies ( SIFY ) and telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK), which were up 2.3% and 2.1% respectively.

There were no decliners from South Asia.
