Aug 6 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened lower
on Tuesday with miners leading broad declines, as investors
caught up with the global stocks sell-off on Monday triggered by
recession fears in the United States.
At 9:30 a.m. ET (1330 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's
S&P/TSX composite index was down 542.04 points, or
2.44%, at 21,685.59.
