CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower; Iran-Israel ceasefire in focus

June 24 (Reuters) - Canada's main stock index opened

lower on Tuesday, dragged by losses in materials shares, while

U.S. President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Iran

and Israel.

At 9:31 a.m. ET (1331 GMT), the Toronto Stock Exchange's

S&P/TSX composite index was down 0.09% at 26,564.01

points.
