Lok Sabha Elections: Polling for the fifth phase of the 2019 general elections in 51 constituencies spread across seven states began on Monday morning. Voting will take place in 14 seats in Uttar Pradesh, 12 in Rajasthan, seven seats each in West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, five in Bihar and four in Jharkhand. In Jammu and Kashmir, polling will take place in the Ladakh Lok Sabha constituency and Pulwama and Shopian districts of Anantnag seat. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Smriti Irani, Rajnath Singh, Jayant Sinha and Rajyavardhan Rathore are among the prominent candidates in the fray today.
