08:17 AM EDT, 09/13/2024 (MT Newswires) -- 111 (YI) said Friday its co-founders Gang Yu and Junling Liu have started purchasing additional company shares using personal funds, with plans to continue buying in the open market.

The exact timing of the purchases and the number of American depositary shares to be acquired were not disclosed.

The co-founders currently own a 42.7% stake in the company, 111 said.

Shares of the company were up 6% in recent premarket activity.
