05:06 PM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- 23andMe (ME) reported a Q4 loss late Thursday of $0.43 per diluted share, wider than a loss of $0.14 a year earlier.

No comparable estimates were available on Capital IQ.

Revenue for the quarter ended March 31 was $64 million, down from $92.4 million a year earlier.

Two analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $61.5 million.

The company said it had cash and cash equivalents of $216 million as of March 31, down from $387 million a year earlier.

23andMe shares were up 6% in after-hours activity.
