23andMe Receives Take-Private Proposal from Chief Executive

10:10 AM EDT, 08/01/2024 (MT Newswires) -- 23andMe Holding ( ME ) said Thursday it has received a preliminary non-binding indication of interest from Chief Executive Anne Wojcicki to acquire all 23andMe shares that she and her affiliates do not already own for $0.40 per class A or B common share.

The company said a special board committee is reviewing the proposal.

23andMe shares were down by nearly 2% in recent trading $0.3921.
