23andMe to Offer Free Blood Testing for Members in Pilot Program

09:12 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- 23andMe Holding (ME) and Nightingale Health said Friday they are collaborating to provide free blood metabolomics testing for up to 5,000 of 23andMe+ premium and Total Health members.

The companies said they will use Nightingale's Remote Health Check to measure blood samples for dozens of biomarkers including cholesterols, apolipoproteins, and fatty acids like omega-3 to provide guidance for potential lifestyle changes.

The blood biomarkers may improve the accuracy of optional testing that 23andMe already provides annual members, the companies said.
