Dear reader,

Share Market Live

NSE

Today marks an important occasion for us — it’s our first anniversary. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for making CNBCTV18.com a part of your lives.

Thanks to your support, this past year we have steadily built the platform and created a format of journalism unique to India.

CNBCTV18.com was launched with two important promises to our potential audience.

Bring them the full power of CNBC-TV18, India’s no. 1 business news channel, to devices and formats they prefer.

Provide them truly valuable business insights on topics that really matter.

What we do is a work in progress but I am happy to say that CNBCTV18.com is a truly integrated newsroom — we collaborate with the TV channel for our journalism every day. We plan and break stories together. We transform the channel’s rich content digitally through an array of products.

We also launched products such as newsletters and podcasts that even established media companies in India are only now toying with. Our products are user friendly, our coverage efficient and effective.

We have brought energy and impact in business news coverage in India. We do this in several ways.

Our deep dives like the one on Patanjali

have uncovered new facets of an Indian conglomerate. We have a bunch of podcasts and two engaging newsletters. We produce videos like Changing India that shine a spotlight on stories missed in the everyday cacophony. We have told stories of the Disruptors in Indian business. We comprehensively cover big-box events like Davos. We help you see the corners with a series like the Future of Work. Our section devoted to the weekend helps you Unwind. Our quizzes and crosswords help you become smarter and have fun.

We have focused our journalism on providing truly valuable news and intelligence. This year, we aim to serve you better with more ambitious editorial projects.

There will be new podcasts and deep-dive newsletters. We will experiment with new forms of storytelling across a raft of topics. We will bring insightful analysis from a scrum of experts on all the topics that matter to you. The content will be richer and diverse.

In other words, we want to make our relationship with you, dear reader, even more special. I look forward to that this year.

Thanks for joining us in our journey. Thanks for reading this.

Thanks for everything that you do.

Warmly,

Binoy Prabhakar
