Aug 1 (Reuters) - 3M Co ( MMM ) on Thursday appointed

Anurag Maheshwari as its chief financial officer, effective

Sept. 1.

Maheshwari is currently the executive vice president and CFO

at Otis Worldwide Corp. ( OTIS )

The appointment comes after Monish Patolawala stepped down

from the role in July.
