3M Joins Alliance of Major Semiconductor Suppliers

11:30 AM EST, 02/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- 3M ( MMM ) said Monday it has joined the US-Joint Consortium, an alliance of 12 major semiconductor suppliers.

The consortium is focused on advancing research and development in next-generation semiconductor packaging and back-end processing technologies. The alliance plans to unveil a new facility in Silicon Valley later this year, the company said.
