10:01 AM EST, 02/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- 3M ( MMM ) and General Motors ( GM ) have partnered to automate paint repair on vehicles before they leave the production line, the companies said Wednesday.

The automaker is using 3M's ( MMM ) Finesse-it robotic paint repair system at its Cadillac production plant in Spring Hill, Tennessee, and exploring future installations at other GM facilities, the companies said.
