With this software update, the device can quantify almost 5,000 airborne chemicals, the company said on Tuesday, when its shares closed 3.5% lower.

Shares of 908 Devices ( MASS ) were trading almost 18% lower in premarket activity on Thursday following Wednesday's Juneteenth equities markets holiday.
