09:15 AM EST, 02/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aardvark Therapeutics ( AARD ) said Thursday it has appointed Derrick Li as chief business officer, and expanded Nelson Sun's role to include chief operating officer, in addition to his current position as chief financial officer.

The appointments became effective Feb. 9, the company said.

In his new role, Li will lead the company's business development efforts, including financing, licensing, partnerships and corporate strategy, Aardvark said.

Before joining Aardvark, Li served as chief strategy officer at ODC Life Sciences, a Latin America-focused clinical research organization, where he led growth strategy and global partnerships, the company said.
