Abbott Laboratories to Acquire Exact Sciences for $21 Billion

07:37 AM EST, 11/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Abbott Laboratories ( ABT ) said Thursday it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Exact Sciences ( EXAS ) for a total equity value of about $21 billion, or $105 per common share.

The deal is expected to close in Q2 of 2026 and is subject to the approval of Exact Sciences' ( EXAS ) shareholders, as well as regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
