Abcourt Says Intersected New Gold Mineralized Zone at the Flordin Property
Feb 20, 2025 10:30 AM

01:14 PM EST, 02/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Abcourt Mines ( ABMBF ) on Thursday released assay results for its first hole drilled in the eastern extension of the South Zone on its Flordin Property, in Quebec.

This gold-bearing zone was discovered in the mid-1980s by Cambior.

Hole FL-25-280 intersected the South Zone at 483 meters depth as well as a new gold mineralized zone grading 1.3 grams per tonne of gold over 28.5 meters, including 5.1 g/t gold over 3 meters (540.5 to 569 meters).

"The drilling campaign underway on our Flordin Property has moved to the western part of the property, approximately 1.8 km from the last announced holes in the Cartwright area," said chief executive Pascal Hamelin. "With a single hole drilled in the South Zone area, we can trace and recognize the high-grade gold mineralization characteristics of the area. Our 2023 and 2025 holes demonstrate that we can link this high-grade gold mineralization over more than 1.8 km of distance on our property."

The company's shares were last seen up $0.005 to $0.055 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
