March 4 (Reuters) - Abercrombie & Fitch ( ANF ) forecast
annual profit largely above Wall Street expectations on
Wednesday, betting on strong demand for its Hollister brand of
apparel even as discretionary spending remains pressured,
especially in the United States.
It expects annual net income per share to be between $10.20
and $11, the midpoint of which is above analysts' expectations
of $10.36, according to data compiled by LSEG.
