Abercrombie & Fitch Moves to S&P MidCap 400, Gates Industrial to Join S&P SmallCap 600

04:08 AM EDT, 07/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Abercrombie & Fitch Company ( ANF ) will replace Equitrans Midstream ( ETRN ) in the S&P MidCap 400 index, effective before the opening of trading on July 22, S&P Dow Jones Indices said early Wednesday.

This move comes amid S&P 500 constituent EQT Corp's ( EQT ) acquisition of Equitrans Midstream ( ETRN ).

The company said that Gates Industrial Corporation ( GTES ) will replace Abercrombie & Fitch ( ANF ) in the S&P SmallCap 600 index due to its move to the S&P MidCap 400 index.
