Abitibi Metals Releases Assays from Its Phase II Drill Program at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit

12:12 PM EDT, 03/19/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Abitibi Metals ( AMQFF ) was last seen up 9% after the company on Wednesday said it received remaining assays from its Phase II drill program at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit in Quebec.

On Nov. 16, 2023, the company entered into an option agreement on the B26 Polymetallic Deposit to earn 80% over 7 years from SOQUEM a subsidiary of Investissement Quebec.

The company said best results from assays on five holes included 1.94% copper equivalent over 29 meters and 1.42% copper equivalent over 33.5 meters.

Abitibi shares were last seen up $0.025 to $0.30 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
