Sep 4, 2025 2:35 AM

05:21 AM EDT, 09/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AC Immune ( ACIU ) said Thursday it plans to cut its workforce by around 30% as it moves to extend its cash runway and focus investments on most important assets, including three clinical-stage active immunotherapy programs.

The moves follow the executive management's strategic review and are estimated to extend the company's cash resources, which stood at 127.1 million Swiss francs ($158 million) as of June 30, through the end of Q3 2027.

AC Immune ( ACIU ) said expects to complete the job cuts by the end of 2025 and the cost reductions to be fully effective early next year.
