Accel Entertainment Closes Acquisition of Owner of FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack

05:59 PM EST, 12/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Accel Entertainment ( ACEL ) said late Monday it closed the acquisition of Fairmount Holdings, the owner of the FanDuel Sportsbook & Racetrack in Collinsville, Illinois, for 3.45 million Accel class A-1 common shares.

Accel intends to spend $85 million to $95 million to fund casino construction and "modest" track investments.
